Frank J. Gow of www.audioclassics.com has passed away. He was the son of the co-founder (Gordon J. Gow) of McIntosh Audio. Frank was dearly loved in the audiophile community. We shall miss him very much. Here is some information from a local blog:

Johnson City: Frank J. Gow, 65 of Johnson City, died Thursday June 2, 2011. He was predeceased by his father, Gordon J. Gow; his mother, Pauline V. Gow; and a brother, Peter Gow. He is survived by his children, John P. Gow, New Haven, CT, Jennifer L. Gow and her fiancé Edward J. Terry III, Apalachin, David M. and Elizabeth L. Gow, Richmond, VA; a sister, Louise Gow, Albany; a brother, John and Tammy Gow, Chenango Forks; and survived and loved by many friends and customers. Frank was a sales consultant for Audio Classics in Vestal. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy Class of 1962 and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed flying and was very knowledgeable about audio equipment.

Loron it was nice that you put this posting here than "Off Topic". What theater system would be complete without a McIntosh amp. Smile

Those like me at 69 should start to look out at a tree, the sky, the views through their telescope because it could be their last. No money no amount of friends and politics will save one from the eventual passing. We the Boomers of the 1940s need to enjoy our lives while we live. Those close to 70, stop the greed, stop the hate and give something back.
