ART SPARKS - LOS ANGELES HIDDEN HISTORY

Art Sparks a native "Angelino" has set out to preserve the hidden history of Los Angeles by setting a web based organization called Los Angeles Hidden History. Those who join have a fun time sharing memories of old Los Angeles at L.A.H.H.'s Facebook page. There is purpose to the group because Mr. Sparks along with his daughter would like set up either travel agency or refer visitor to historic Los Angeles/Hollywood locations sometime in the future but for now he testing the waters with his Los Angeles History project. I have also spoken with Los Angeles historian Art Sparks who recommends the KCET Ralph Story documentary "Things That Aren't Here Anymore"

Art Sparks has truly done a superb job -- and an exhaustive undertaking -- creating his Los Angeles Hidden History FB page, posting rare and interesting photos which capture a glimpse of L.A.'s past. What a GREAT idea. I especially like how you have organized some of the photos into albums on this page b/c I like to re-visit some of them -- especially those of places where I spent a lot of time -- so the albums help me more easily find the photos I want to look at again.
